This is Jenny
Drop her a line, she loves to collaborate creatively and write bios about herself in the third person.
Current Work
Jenny is a multi-hyphenate creative with a wide-ranging background in visual and digital content creation. Her experience includes design, motion graphics, branding, video editing, animation, photography and illustration, and she has collaborated with a long list of clients of all scopes, from large corporations to her neighbor who needs a business card.
She was recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Embassy for "ongoing high quality service in pitching, producing and adjusting social content to advance U.S. Mission, Department of State, and Nation Security Strategy goals." which basically means she did a good job coming up with cool social media content for the government.
Past Work
While living in NYC, she started at The New York Times as the art director for the Pulitzer Prize department. She collaborated closely with the managing editors to organize and present submissions for the Pulitzer Prize in journalism. In subsequent years at the Times, she also took on various roles such as video producer, director, writer, photographer, and editor, conceiving and executing many original video series, graphics, and animations for NYTimes online platforms, social media, and apps.
Jenny later founded a boutique (i.e. tiny) production company, where her team worked with a talented group of freelancers to bring clients' visions to life. Some of those include: NPR, Scripps Interactive Network, Time Magazine, Bon Appétit, Food Network, Workman Publishing, Bocconi University (Milan), Bike New York, Bespoke Post, the 911 museum and many others. The projects spanned across video, audio, graphics, animation, design and illustration.
She has a particular love of theater and has designed posters and postcards for shows and theater groups all over the country, and devotes a percentage of her time doing design work affordably for small businesses and artists.
She has a degree from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently enjoying splitting her time between New York City and beautiful Portland, Maine, working on a variety of creative pursuits.
